The Georgia Public Service Commission approved a new rate plan for Georgia Power Co. The increase will remain in effect until Dec. 31, 2013

The vision for Atlanta’s next two “live, work, play” communities  have been set! The former “Streets of Buckhead” is now called “Buckhead Atlanta”.  Buckhead Atlanta is located in the old Buckhead Village club district.  It will be a people friendly, upscale urban community w/ shopping, residences, and office space. On the other side of town, the Aerotropolis Atlanta community will be home the Porsche North American headquarters.  Aerotropolis is an environmentally friendly project that plans to serve as a major business hub close to the Atlanta Hartsfield-Jackson airport, the busiest airport in the world.  In light of the current economy, there are still companies that willing to invest in major projects.  Both projects will not only develop land that is currently an eye soar, but breathe life into an already thriving city.
